Booked my flight going back home to Arizona using my points that I received from flying around for work. First, AA has the nerve to charge a fee to buy extra points….$30. The cost of the flight was 12,500 points. I needed another 2,000 points as I already had a little over 11,000 points. I bit the bullet and booked the flight as the regular cost of a one way flight was $388.60. The points cost me $93.43 for 2,000 points. Next, I didn’t know AA charged you to book with points…$75. So the total for the flight was $174.03 which included buying the points, fee for booking with points, and the flight taxes. I saved $214.57 which is a good deal so I’m not complaining. I just don’t like paying dumb fees that no other airline charges. United nor Southwest charges me any fees to book with points or to buy points for that matter. Last time I’ll be fooling with American Airlines.
Without a plan, Elyse Y. Robinson moved to México City after her mother passed away from blood cancer on November 11, 2016. She never heard of México City nor even visited México before. She just knew she had to escape America to mourn. She had quit her whole life to help her family anyway. She had nothing more to lose. She is going into her fourth year in México and she is there to stay!
