Arrived back in Mexico City on Monday smoothly and easily. But I ended up leaving my passport at Customs where you get your dog checked. The lady never gave it back to me and with 4 bags, starving, cold, and a whiny dog I wasn’t even thinking about it. They called me at 11 Tuesday night saying I left it. I went and grabbed it last night around 7pm since they are 24 hours. I got total VIP service from the security guard and Southwest agent. Forever grateful to them! They were so patient and helpful. Again, this is why I love this place!
I woke up yesterday morning to my dog being sick. He had green stuff coming out of his nose. I’m like great just what I need as I planned to just go get my passport yesterday. I take him to the vet and the vet gives him 4 shots and 4 pills he’ll have to take for the next 4 days. Turns out he has bronchitis! Plus I have to go back for a checkup today. Sigh…Total cost was $400 pesos or about $21 with the current exchange rate.
My poor dog…guess I’ll have to get him a sweater. He refuses to sleep under the blanket I have for him. I don’t know what else to do for him. I can’t run my space heater all day and night.
It was damn cold in Houston the whole two weeks I was there. Just abnormal weather and the sun barely came out. I was miserable as I had a few things I wanted to do while I was there like go to NASA and take my family. I was also sick and was laid up on the couch for days doing nothing. Much better now, but what is going on with this weather?!
