This is my 5th blog post on my grocery bill. So people can see how I live, how cheap it is to live here, and because these are easy posts while I work on BeAForeigner.com. 😊

This week I’m making Bean Salad and Clams. I LOVE BEANS! #delicioso! 🤤

A picture of the clams I made today. 🧐

🛴 Viator - Get $10 free

As you can see this time I got A LOT of food. Thanks to my credits!

Total was $1,037.49 pesos BUT I received $434.69 in discounts so total was $602.80. That’s about $31 USD with the exchange rate of about 19 pesos (the exchange rate fluctuates a lot here) = $1 dollar. That includes the service fee, the tip, and any discounts I received.

If you are in Mexico, please download the Rappi app and use my code 5mo2112378. Gracias!

Elyse Y. Robinson

Without a plan, Elyse Y. Robinson moved to México City after her mother passed away from blood cancer on November 11, 2016. She never heard of México City nor even visited México before. She just knew she had to escape America to mourn. She had quit her whole life to help her family anyway. She had nothing more to lose. She is going into her fourth year in México and she is there to stay!
